Estate Planning Faux Pas of the Rich and Famous (and what you can learn from them) -- Janet Wallace & Matthew O'Leary

You have probably heard or read stories about how famous people really messed up planning how to leave their estates. And you probably don't want to make the same mistakes that they did.
We're talking about people like Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando, Michael Jackson, Prince, Jimi Hendrix and many others.
Your instructors will tell you fascinating stories about the lives and deaths of the celebrities and the errors in their planningor lack thereof. An object lesson in proper planning for our own estates will be included with each celebrity's story.
Attendees will learn how to avoid common estate planning blunders through a fun and fast-paced session.
Janet Wallace and Matthew O'Leary are attorneys in San Luis Obispo County, specializing in Wills, Trusts, and Estates. Matthew earned his Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law; Janet earned her Juris Doctorate from UC Davis School of Law. Matt and Janet founded O'Leary Wallace LLP in 2017, but have been following and sharing celebrity estate planning mistakes since they started practicing in 2010.
