Black Conference is a fully-immersive theater event where the audience will assume the role of conference attendees. Locations within the venue will shift and may require audience members to change their locations and seating several times throughout the event. Though physical contact will be limited to conventional greetings (handshakes, direct address) audience members should be prepared for characters to say things that may be considered controversial or offensive as part of the experience. There is some mild violence in the play, including simulated spanking of a child. The subject matter may not be appropriate for young children. The play is not recommended for children under 13 years of age. There will be no curtain call during the production and programs will only be available in digital format after the performance or as a paper copy upon special request.
