On Saturday, February 9th, the Whiteside Theatre Foundation will be offering Love Stories of the Whiteside Theatre at 2 PM. This guided walking tour involves a walk through history to the present day and the true love stories of the couples who met, dated, and fell in love at the historic venue. A great romantic date choice!
The Whiteside Theatre is located at 361 S.W. Madison Avenue, Corvallis. All proceeds from this tour will support the rehabilitation of the theatre, and the current Relight the Whiteside Campaign, raising grant-matching funds to restore the 1950 Streamline marquee.
The tour, led by local theatre historian, Louise-Annette Burgess, starts at 2 PM and can be offered in an accessible (no stairs) format if prior notification is sent to info@whitesidetheatre.org. Cameras and other recording devices are not allowed. Tours are $10 for the general public and $5 for Members.
