Event
Overfed Yet Undernourished
EcoWomen have entered a new "season" and for the next 3 months EcoWomen programing will be focusing on how we as women can improve our lives, our relationships, our jobs, and grow our community of environmentally conscientious women. With everyone's New Year's resolutions fresh on our minds we wanted to kick things off with a workshop focused health using a holistic mind body approach but with a specific focus on improving our diet and learning more about the food we eat.
Are you feeling rundown, anxious, depressed or just plain not yourself? We live in a nation where food is bountiful yet we're lacking in some basic vitamins and minerals. We see nutrient deficiencies every day. Why? We eat 3 meals a day plus snacks yet as a nation we are undernourished. Join Drs. Threlkel and Windsor to learn: 1) Why we're malnourished 2) What the common deficiencies are 3) How simple changes in your food choices can make a difference
