Portraits in Watercolor
Fridays, Jan. 19 - Mar. 9 9 a.m.- Noon
Join artist Robert Sherrill for this eight-part series in watercolor portrait painting. The class includes fundamentals such as proportion and anatomy, watercolor techniques, and how to capture character and personality. Members: $275. Non-Members: $295.
Class is held in various locations on the ground. Please check in with Huntington staff in the Banta Education Center.
A supply list is below. Please bring to each day of class.
Watercolor Paint: Windsor Newton (or any quality brand name paint) Cadmium Red Medium, Magenta, Lemon yellow, Cadmium Yellow Pale, Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue. White Gouache. Also, bring any other colors you like.
Palette: A nice big plastic palette is fine.
Brushes: Red Sable, Kolinsky Sable or Synthetic Sable are fine (1- #10 Round, 1- #4 Round)
Paper: Arches 140 cold press (around 9" x 12" Block), loose paper is also fine
Tape: Masking tape
Water bucket: Clear plastic container for water. Suggested: inexpensive containers such as Rubbermaid brand - Bring 2 or 3.
Paper towels.
Photos of people you would like to paint.
SALES POLICY: Tickets are not sold at the door for this event. The instructors require a final numbers count ahead of time for supplies.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Refunds will be issued only if cancellation is made at least 5 days prior to the event. Cancellations made within 5 days of the event will not be refunded.
