12th Annual Fundraising Concert
You are warmly invited to the 12th Annual Benefit Concert for the Peaceful Childrens Homes in Cambodia, taking place at MacKay United Church (39 Dufferin Road, Ottawa), on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at 2:00 p.m, hosted by CBC Radios Laurence Wall. The Guest of Honour will be His Excellency, Per Sjøgren, Ambassador of Sweden, reflecting Swedens interest in Cambodia and human rights.
We have a terrific lineup of musicians for March 11! The concert will open with jazz performed Peter Woods (saxophone) and Brian Browne (piano) . Well go on to classical, featuring Danielo and Maria Krstic (multi-year winner of the Canada Music Competition) on violin, Kyle Burghout and Jane Cory on fiddle, as well as guitar, piano, cello and vocal music. To top it off, well have Cambodian musicians on traditional Khmer instruments! The concert will be followed by complimentary refreshments and a silent auction.
All concert proceeds go towards the food, health and educational needs of the children and young people at the Peaceful Childrens Homes, including their university studies.
