Event

Gabrielle Louise, Give Where You Live
The Paradise Theatre is pleased to welcome singer, songwriter Gabrielle Louise for a Holiday Concert on December 23rd at 7:30pm.  This is a very unique event because not only will it be a beautiful musical concert, it also will recognize and honor some local nonprofit organizations who contribute to our community, celebrating the Season of Giving. For this special evening, Gabrielle Louise and her band will be performing original and interpreted songs that highlight the importance of volunteer organizations in our community, and the impact they make to our quality of life. Concert ticket sales benefit the Friends of the Paradise Theatre.
Gabrielle Louise will also be releasing her most recent recording, Live at Etown Hall, and will be donating a portion of its proceeds to the causes recognized in the show. Recorded last holiday season in Boulder, Live at Etown Hall features 14 concert tracks supported by a roster of the southwests finest musicians, including Greg Schochet, Brodie Kinder, Melanie Jean, Jon McMillian, and Jonathan Sadler.  The record couples the spirit and charm of a live performance with the careful orchestration and production of a studio record. It features live favorites of Gabrielles original material as well as some carefully selected covers by Mark Knopfler, Justin Evan Thompson, and James Keelaghan. 50% of CD sales will be donated to nonprofits working for causes she loves in the North Fork Valley.
Prior to the concert, starting at 6pm, there will be a reception where audience participants can socialize with local nonprofits and learn about current projects and issues. Gabrielle Louise and her band, composed of Melanie Jean on bass, Justin Thompson on Telecaster, and Greg Schochet on Mandolin, will weave the stories of our local issues into the music.
