Rocks Rock! Geology and Magic of stones.
Have you ever wondered how the land we stand upon came to be, or what those rocks are in the river bed? Then come spend the evening with a bunch of rocks. No, seriously. We will start off with a little NW geology primer, finding out the ways rocks are born and how we can tell who the rock in question is. We will go through a dozen stones, discussing where to find them (rockhounding), how they formed, and their proposed metaphysical properties. Participants will leave with a few new rock friends to take home.
