Remedies from the Kitchen Cabinet
One of the beautiful things about herbalism is using the plants at hand. Many of the plants we are already familiar with are underutilized as medicine. In this class, we will explore some common culinary herbs we might find in a spice rack or northwest gardens. On our journey together, we will discuss 10 different herbs, and go into detail of how and when we might choose these plants to help us through sickness, as well as creative ways to make medicine from them. We will conclude our time with creating an herbal preparation with one of our discussed plants.
