03-02-13 Skate Like an Egyptian

Mark your calendars for our first inter-league bout of the season on Saturday, March 2nd. This will be the first sanctioned game of the new year, as well as the first inter-league bout under the most current version of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association's rules.

The Circle City Derby Girls from Indianapolis and the Lafayette Brawlin Dolls of Lafayette, IN are coming to little Egypt to challenge the Southern Illinois Roller Girls. Come out and watch us kick our opponents' asps as we skate like an Egyptian.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit "Shriners Children's Hospital".

This event will take place at The Pavilion, behind the mall in Marion.

Snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase, along with alcoholic beverages for those who are of age. SIRG wants to remind you to drink responsibly... the only wreck you should be in is the 7 girl pile-up in the Suicide Seating.
