Imagine the Angels of Bread Part 1 is a visual exploration of gay Latino mens past and present while imagining a future where gay Latino men thrive. These original pieces will explore themes such as transformation, HIV, labor, sexuality, faith, borders, and racism in the lives of gay Latino men. Imagine the Angels of Bread Part 1 is about bringing communities together, providing space to enjoy the shared human experiences that connect us, and helping expand our minds and hearts to be more compassionate and understanding.
About the Artist: Leo Herrera is a rising star in the visual arts world who has had his work displayed across the country. As a proud gay Latino immigrant man, Herrera brings the richness of his identity to bear on all of his artwork.
