The Brothers Paranormal, by Prince Gomolvilas
MediaRites' Theatre Diaspora presents... Prince Gomolvilas' masterful new original play.
Jan. 19-20 at 7:30pm and Jan. 20-21 at 2pm. All shows are at the Boiler Room, the Broadway St. entrance of Lincoln Hall.

The Brothers Paranormal tells the story of two Thai-American brothers launch a ghost-hunting business in order to capitalize on the nationwide increase in sightings of Asian-looking ghosts. When the siblings end up investigating the home of an African American couple who claim to be haunted by one very terrifying spirit, everyones notions of reality, fantasy, and sanity clash against the shocking truth. At times haunting, at times hilarious, "The Brothers Paranormal" serves as a powerful metaphor for grief, loss, and healing among communities of color.

Directed by: Kate Duffly
Starring: Samson Syharath, Elaine Low, Josie Seid, Jasper Howard, Melissa Magana and Savira Kambhu.

With original music performed by Portland composer/musician  Joe Kye, this staged reading is being workshopped with playwright Prince Gomolvilas in attendance who will be featured in talkbacks after the performances.
