Kate and Miles, both born on the same day in the same hospital, have been best friends literally since birth. From childhood to adulthood, Kate and Miles have had to navigate long distances, other relationships, and life's hard knocks. While struggling keep their bond alive, these two learn the meaning of a 'soul mate, with or without each other.
