For the first time ever, Flossmoor Station Restaurant and Brewery is releasing limited edition bottles of its 12-month barrel aged Wooden Hell Private Reserve! For those not lucky enough to try the original, this 9.1% ABV barleywine was brewed in collaboration with former Flossmoor Brewmaster and Wooden Hell founder Matt Van Wyk last year, the first time since 2006. More than 80% of the batch was released during Flossmoor Station's annual Pre-Dark Lord Day in May. The remainder has been aging in Woodford Reserve Bourbon barrels ever since.
The Wooden Hell Private Reserve tapping will be on Wednesday, December 20 at 11:30am, followed by the bottle release on Thursday, December 21 at 11:30am. However, if you want to skip the lines, the Station is having a limited one-day presale on Saturday, December 16 beginning at 10am for Mug Club Members and noon for the public. Each bottle costs $25, and 4 bottles must be purchased to participate in the pre-sale. LIMIT (1) ORDER PER PERSON.
The bottles may be picked up from Thursday, December 21 at 11:30am through Sunday, December 24 at 6pm. Must be 21 or over and present valid I.D. with receipt when picking up bottles.
