Artistry Matters SF at the Assembly SF
Artistry Matters SF joins the founders of The Assembly SF, a new social club for women, for Giving Tuesday, an annual night of charitable giving acknowledging the needs of Non Profit Organizations.
An evening of wine, prosecco and light food will also highlight
Zoe Klein performing a short piece from Born, Never Asked, an auto-biographical acrobatic dance theater piece that sheds light on the complexity of international adoption, its intersection with current immigration and citizenship policies through acrobatics, dance, spoken word, aerial work, soundscape, and visual imagery. And
a discussion with Operation Rainbow's Executive Director, Michelle Duncan Lowenberg. OR is a volunteer run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to performing free orthopedic surgery for indigent children and young adults in developing countries worldwide who do not have access to related medical procedures or equipment. OR also provides continuing education to international health care providers to encourage medical self-sufficiency.
In addition, donations of menstrual products, socks and gloves accepted on behalf of the Gubbio Project, a project supporting the homeless in the Tenderloin. GIVING TUESDAY! Make a difference!
Wines from supporters of Operation Rainbow, Cherry Pie Vineyards and Donelan Vineyards, will be poured.
