Trinity House Theatre presents "How Old is that Photo" an original play
"Laura Guminas play, How Old is That Photo?, is delightful. Its quirky, episodic, ensemble offering hard laughs and sympathetic moans throughout. The script offers performance delights for seasoned actors and audiences alike. Equally significant is that the plays subject matter concentrates on a demographicsenior citizensalmost completely ignored or wheeled off in stereotypic dismissives.
Guminas characters are well-formed, sometimes comic/tragic combinations that will endear themselves to audiences. The script is a page-turner, which neither confuses or borestwo sins of any playwright.
At the script reading in which I participated, one audience member described a scene as reminding them of the repartee from Woody Allens Annie Hall, to which others, including myself, heartily, delightfully agreed!
The play will engage audiences of any age, effectively, comically, and graciously pulling back the curtain on the senior citizen on.line dating scene. I heartily recommend it!"
