Roedde House Museum presents the Vancouver Viols
The Vancouver Viols bow in on March 10th. This consort, made up of some of the area's finest early music players, presents a programme of assorted repertoire. The viol, also known as a viola da gamba, is a Renaissance and Baroque precursor to the instruments of the modern orchestral string section. Known for their distinctive "softer, sweeter sonority," let the Vancouver Viols transport you to an earlier time of sweete musick.
