The Tempest - An Immersive Experience
Audiences will find themselves transported onto Prospero's wild, whimsical, enchanted island during the course of this immersive production. Participants will have the opportunity to experience unique, self-driven interactions in a choose-your-own-adventure format. This experience allows the audience to engage fully with the text and characters, as well some of the darker themes that drive the story, at their own pace and in their own way.

New York Foundling - Hurricane Relief.
The Tempest is a story about aftermath of a magical storm on a fictional island. EMIT now humbly asks you to please turn your eyes to the very real island of #PuertoRico and help change the story of the aftermath of #HurricaneMaria.
EMIT has had the privilege of partnering with The New York Foundling for the past two productions. This summer we created an accessible interactive production of A Midsummer Night's Dream for individuals in their Day Habilitation program. Their office is our creative home for rehearsals for this production of The Tempest. The New York Foundling has over 42 locations bringing services to communities in need in Puerto Rico. They were greatly impacted by Hurricane Maria.
The New York Foundling now needs our help to be able to change the narrative. $10 of every Hurricane Maria Relief Ticket purchased will go directly to the The New York Foundling's recovery fund.
We strongly encourage our community to purchase these tickets!
Our goal is to raise $1,000 for The New York Foundling's Puerto Rico Relief Fund.
