This official Junior FIRST LEGO League Expo hosted by JHU APL Society of Women Engineers and FIRST Tech Challenge Team 10216 SpiderByte. This Expo is offered under the auspices of USRA STEMaction Center, the FLL Jr. Affiliate Partner for Maryland. USRA STEMaction Center delivers exciting science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) activities to K-12 students and builds a local community of support for the programs and participants. Please see www.STEMaction.USRA.edu for more information.
Notes: (1) The FIRST LEGO League Jr. program requires that all teams registering for an official FLL Jr. Expo are registered as an official team for the current season with FIRST. In addition, all team members participating in the Expo must be signed up online with the team through the FIRST TIMS system, with a completed electronic consent form.
(2) Official Expos require a minimum of five FLL Jr. teams to participate. In the event that fewer than five FLL Jr. teams register for this Expo, USRA STEMaction Center will work with the teams that have registered to determine whether to change the Expo to an Exhibition (not an official Expo) or to cancel the Expo altogether and register teams for another event.
(3) Teams registered for this Expo must bring a printed copy of the ticket to the Expo for use in the on-site check-in process.
(4) The Expo registration fee must be paid via credit card through the Brown Paper Ticket service. A processing fee (less than $2) has been added to the base registration cost creating the final registration cost for each team. If a credit card cannot be used, please contact USRA STEMaction Center directly for assistance in completing the team registration. Do not call Brown Paper Ticket for this purpose.
