REVELATIONS - by Ben Hatt - NYWINTERFEST 2018
10 years after Rose (now 23) was disfellowshipped and shunned from the faith of a rural religious sect, she comes back to confront her father about the abuse she suffered at the hands of an elder in the congregation. Flashbacks tell the story of a charismatic leader of the congregation grooming a young Rose as she struggles to maintain her support for the religion and her relationship with her father.
