Alpaca Farm Tour
Tour a local, 30 acre alpaca farm in Woodland, and get stewardship ideas for your property by seeing practices in action.
Participants will have the opportunity to tour White Oak Alpacas Ranch, see rotational grazing in action, and learn about practices to manage runoff and reduce mud. This is a great property to tour for any farmers who are thinking about adding alpacas to their land. Come learn about how best management practices have been implemented to improve their property and protect natural resources, while saving time and money.
Bring your family & friends and questions you have about your property. Please dress appropriately for the weather, bring a rain jacket and wear sturdy boots as we'll be in the field.
The Small Acreage Program, co-sponsored by Washington State University Clark County Extension and Clark County Clean Water Program, will lead the tour with the landowners.
