Q Morrow Band from NYC

Join us for a wonderful night of guitar music at Cinder featuring NYC guitarist Q Morrow with his full band from NYC. The concert is presented by The Idaho Songwriters Association; a 501(C) 3 organization dedicated "To nurture the creative art of songwriting and foster relationships between songwriters and the community."

For this special concert, Q will be joined by his band from NYC featuring Grammy award winning and Downbeat critics poll nominated flute and alto saxophone player Evan Francis (Michael Buble, Miguel Atwood Ferguson, Jesus Diaz). Q will present two sets of his original music which is steeped in jazz, Brazilian, Indian, and Afro Cuban music, R&B, and blues along with some jazz standards as well as new music from his upcoming album "There Are Stars in Brooklyn", due to be released Jan 2018."

Originally from Caldwell, ID, Q has also lived and worked as a musician in San Francisco, CA and currently resides in Brooklyn, NY. He is an active part of NYC's vibrant jazz and Brazilian music scenes frequently performing at world renowned jazz clubs such as the Zinc Bar, Cornelia St Cafe, and the 55 Bar, as well as performing at jazz festivals around the world.
