Shady Groove and the Real Sarahs
Shady Groove, Santa Cruz's best and most experienced Jerry Garcia cover band has been playing Garcias music in the area for the last 20+ years. Led by Matt Hartle and Jerry Brown, they cover Garcia's music from 1976 through 1995 and have actually not performed for about a year and a half in the area.
The Real Sarah's, (yes, all three girls are actually named Sarah) from Nevada City, bring some of the best 3 part harmonies to open the show with an eclectic array of musical instruments and folk songs.
The show will open around 8:30 and roll through the midnight hour. Tickets are available in advance at www.thewheelcompany.com or at Don Quixote's for $15 or $18 at the door.
