Blend Vocal Presents: Major and Minor Christmas Concert
Blend Vocal Association is a group of 12-14 woman who unite to sing in beautiful harmony. This year we will be exploring the dichotomy of Christmas. The beautiful memories, the family together time, the carols and the traditions. While this feeds many of us in such a beautiful way, it can also cause angst and loneliness to amplify for others. This year we have some gorgeous songs that can speak to the many emotions a person can experience at Christmas.
We are also excited to perform some original songs "Christmas Night" and "Christmas Morning" composed by our own Artistic director John Vooys.
Our repertoire will be sure to leave you with all the warm fuzzies that Christmas can bring!
Blend Vocal is a Non Profit Organization. We try to share the beauty and joy of music throughout the Calgary community. This includes singing at other community events, Stampede, churches and hospices. We will be hosting a Bake Sale to raise funds for the continuation of our community inititiatives. The Bake Sale will take place before the concert and during intermission. We thank you in advance for your support.
