A Tribute to the Carol Burnett Show
Celebrate the new year with a look back at the hilarious Carol Burnett Show! This live performance will feature the Lincoln Players recreating some of the best sketches from The Carol Burnett Show and some songs from the groovy 1960's and 1970's - plus a classic song and dance number originally performed by Fred Astaire and Judy Garland in the film, "Easter Parade". (You have to come to the show to find out which song it is).
The Carol Burnett Show originally ran on CBS from September 11, 1967, to March 29, 1978, for 279 episodes. The series won 25 Emmy Awards, was ranked number 16 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time in 2002, and in 2007 was listed as one of Time magazine's 100 Best TV Shows of All Time.
