Krampusnacht: A Dark Christmas Tradition
An evening of cautionary tales, music and spooky entertainment!
Celebrate the eve of St. Nicholas Day in grand German style! Welcome St. Nick's notorious sidekick, the devil called Krampus, with delicious German savories and sweets, special Krampus cocktails, a program of live action cautionary tales from "Der Struwwelpeter," ghost stories of Chicago Christmases past, a live ghost box session--speaker with the spirits of the DANK Haus--music for a dark winter's night, table magic, psychic readings and a visit from Krampus himself! Door prizes and giveaways. $15 in advance. $20 at door. Children 12 and under free (if they are tasty!)
Food and drink available for purchase:
Dinner tickets are $10 and are available in advance or at the door if still available. Dinner ticket includes brat on prezel roll, sauerkraut and potato salad, stollen and other sweets, and coffee or hot chocolate.
Cash bar for soft drinks and cocktails.
Please bring a new, unwrapped toy for our toy drive!
