The Washington Wind Symphony presents "Peace on Earth"
Join Dr. Ed Powell and the Washington Wind Symphony as we present the second concert of our 37th season, Peace on Earth, at Redmond Performing Arts Center. The band will usher in the holidays with a festive assortment of beautiful wind music, including Percy Graingers The Sussex Mummers Christmas Carol, Angel of Mercy, by Maslanka, Minor Alterations, Christmas Through the Looking Glass, by Lovrien, and other melodic compositions that are sure to warm your heart.
Band bio
The Washington Wind Symphony comprises 45-50 dedicated musicians who gather once a week for the pure enjoyment of the preservation of classic wind band literature. Performing a four-concert season at Redmonds intimate Performing Arts Center, the musicians have gained popularity on the Eastside of Seattle.
