Kensington Singers - Winter Term 2017
This is payment for the Winter Term 2017 for Kensington Singers. Rehearsals will be every Monday from 25th September at St Philip's Church Hall, Earls Court, 7.00pm-8.45pm. There will be a half term break on the 23rd October.
Our winter repertoire is themed around christmas favourites, choral classics and a wintery piece or two!
Our end of term concert is with special guest BBC Jazz Award winning vocalist Ian Shaw (he really is amazing!) on Monday 11th December and we will also be performing at the V&A and at St Cuthburts Carols on Saturday 9th December too.

Please buy a ticket for the section you sing in; soprano is higher female, and alto is lower female. Tenor is higher male and bass is lower male - if you are unsure don't worry, we can help you at your first rehearsal - just select either if you don't know.
If you are bringing a new man who joins you will receive a discounted rate of £150 for two. You must both sign up at the choir at the same time.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 1) There are no refunds on membership fees.
2) Singers should be able to commit to attending 70% or more of rehearsals in order to perform in the end of term concerts and are asked to sign the register at rehearsals each week.
3) We normally perform without music. Singers are asked to put in the appropriate amount of time outside of rehearsals to memorise words and learn your parts. There is usually a little bit of homework each week to revise a couple of songs to ensure we are making progress at each rehearsal. MP3s of parts are supplied to help with learning.
4) Some of our performances (particularly outdoors/Christmas carols) involve singing our 'rolling rep' (choir favourites) in addition to the current terms set pieces. Singers are required to ensure they read the weekly newsletter and communicate with us regarding any additional resources or learning.
