Rock Show: Pardon Me, Doug (Maine's premiere Phish tribute band)
Not only does Pardon Me, Doug perform only the music of Phish, like that venerable Vermont jam band they constantly alter their set lists and song selections so that one night's show is a completely different experience from previous shows. Fresh from catching a couple shows during Phish's four-night New Year's run at Madison Square Garden they're charged up and ready to make their Lewiston debut. All four members sing and the band features Benny St. Clair on guitar (playing an exact replica of Trey Anastasio's distinctive Paul Languedoc guitar), Kevin Roper on keyboards, Cameron Gray on drums and Chris "Cheese" Chasse on bass. This will be closest thing to a Phish show that L/A has seen since "back in the day" in the early 90's when Phish used to play at Larrabee Farm (a.k.a Amy's Farm) in Auburn. They play everything from well-known staples of Phish concerts to really obscure material that rarely finds its way into a live show. If you're a Phish fan, this is a show not to be missed!
