WORKSHOP by James Hollis: What Is A Mature Spirituality?
We are awash with claims upon us. Many of them are external career and family, social, political, and economic entreaties, and many of them are enternal hopes, fears, archaic agendas and complexes which drive us. How does one evolve a mature spirituality out of this mélange of values, drives, agendas? What makes us larger human beings? What brings us nearer to the achievement of being which the soul demands of us?
James Hollis, Ph. D., is a Zurich-trained Jungian Analyst in Houston, TX, and author of thirteen books, the latest being What Matters Most: Living a More Considered Life and Why Good People Do Bad Things.
