Please join us for the Farmland Changing Hands Workshop. Hear from farmers about land agreements and leases. Learn about innovative farmland transfer and funding options, legalities of leasing and working with a land trust. Have underutilized farmland? Looking for farmland? Meet other landowners and land seekers. The workshop will also feature a tour of the Dungeness Creamery, a great example of farm succession as well as farmland preservation through a conservation easement with the North Olympic Land Trust (NOLT).
We'll provide coffee, tea and lunch. Please wear appropriate footwear for touring the farm and outerwear for weather. We'll be outside for portions of the afternoon.

The NOP RC&D Council is a unique broad-based non-government, non-profit, volunteer organization of local leaders seeking public input to address and solve social, economic, community and environmental issues in Jefferson and Clallam counties, particularly in the agriculture sector.
