Circus Tracks The Almost True Tale of a Heart Broke Circus By Sarah Hammond Directed by Meghan Arnette An ensemble fairy tale with freaks, ghosts and circus clowns, Circus Tracks is the magical story of a heart broke circus. Told by the inhabits of this circus's backstage world this quirky comedy follows the journey of circus orphan stranded in suburbia who must travel through miles of freak-studded desert to find her way back to the saddest big top on the planet. In this desert, fish swim in the sand,children are tigers, god speaks in tattoos, and life has a rewind button. Part whimsical comic adventure, part ghost story, Circus Tracks is a hilarious modern fable that will surprise and delight.
Circus Tracks was written by New Dramatists resident playwright Sarah Hammond and is directed by Live Girls! founding Artistic Director Meghan Arnette. The production features a fantastic ensemble of actors including- Megan Ahiers, Alex Blouin, Colin Connors, Adam Davis, Sann Hall, Jason Harber, and Christine Longe. The production team includes Meggan Davis(Stage Manager) Jen Cabarrus (ASM), Chrystian Shepperd (Lighting design), Brian Stricklan (Mural Design) Grant Laine (Sets), Michele Hallman (Costume Design), and Alison Underdahl (Props).
