The Bakery - Spring Readings
The Bakery is your chance to be a part of the development process and discuss new works! Many of the plays chosen for past festivals have been slated for production by Live Girls! or other local companies. Our audience truly sees it first! This year four full-length plays were chosen in addition to three plays by teen writers from ACT's Young Playwrights Program. As a bonus special event a short play by Angela Shelton and a showing of her documentary "Searching for Angela Shelton" will close the series.
This year's line-up includes-
Friday 7PM Still by Kathryn Miller and Salt Water by Gina Young
Saturday 2PM Rondo by Pam Carter 7PM Beyond Bars by Naomi Brodkin and Wallflower by Deborah Stein
Sunday 2PM Medulla by Stephanie Venard and The Damnable Life of Doctor Faust by Rachel Jackson 7PM Special Closing Event! Finding Angela Shelton by Angela Shelton Includes a showing of the documentary Searching for Angela Shelton
