Heckle's Comedy Presents Cory Michaelis & Travis Kenny
Cory Michaelis is a regular in comedy clubs like Laughs in Kirkland, Washington and the Tacoma Comedy Club as well as all over the Northwest. He was a finalist in the 2010 Giggles' Laff Off and has been featured on Seattle's "Evening Magazine". Michaelis has also taken his act to the road to Harvey's in Portland, The Gaslamp Show in San Diego, as well as many one-night engagements in the western half of the states. Now, Michaelis is working as host and producer of "Everett Comedy Night", a premier show in his hometown of Everett, Washington.
A teacher by day and comic by night, Michaelis keeps it relatively clean by not cursing but edgy enough to keep the audience from feeling like they're in a classroom. Michaelis writes clever jokes in an act that tries to get audiences to think but doesn't take itself too seriously.
Travis Kenny, is an American comedic singer and songwriter who once heard, is not easily forgotten.
His whimsical Pacific Northwest roots flow through his original acoustic comedy with a fresh voice filled with soulful ease. Travis Kenny is a consummate wordsmith and musician blending his first hand experiences and distant places traveled within his life.
Frolicking threw his sidesplitting and uproarious set. Travis Kenny can easily walk into a local bar or comedy club and the room immediately warms up to him after a moment into the first song. His refreshingly approachable and easygoing stage presence combined with his vocal talents leaves the audiences moved.
Once he has left the stage, after his last jaunty melody, the mesmerized audience realizes that they have just seen a major force in the American comedy scene.
