Wildflower Walks
Pepperwood was hit hard by the October 2017 Tubbs Fire, but we expect nature to demonstrate its resiliency this spring with some splendid wildflower blooms. We may even see some "fire follower" species that haven't been sighted in years! Pepperwood staff and expert volunteers will guide you through our vibrant meadows, pointing out what is blooming and sharing amazing botanical details. Participants are welcome to stay and enjoy a picnic lunch adjacent to the flowering meadows. These educational walks will be up to 1 mile at a slow pace, stopping frequently to point out wildflower species.
