Dave Bender is the Executive Director of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois. In this role, Dave represents 225 Engineering firms in Illinois - 70% of them being in the Chicagoland area - with nearly 13,000 employees.
Dave previously was the Executive Director of the Illinois Green Industry Association; was named by former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar as the Assistant Director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture; served as special assistants to Governor Edgar and Former Lt. Governor Bob Kustra. He is the co-founder of the Illinois Business Immigration Coalition and currently serves as one of its co-chairs.
