The Joy of Cheese and Gastronomie 491 Present Winter Wednesdays with Wine
Beat the winter blahs with a series of extraordinary cheeses and amazing wines at Gastronomie 491! Please join us Wednesday January 30 at 7 for a tasting of six magnificent pairings of wine and cheeses. The cheeses will come from the Gastronomie 491 collection and they will be presented and discussed by Martin Johnson, the Cheese Boss at Gastronomie 491 (He's also on the culinary faculty at the 92nd St. Y and a columnist at Huffington Post.) Our wines will be presented by Michael Whidden of AI Selections; he's an affable authority on all things vino. It's a sure way to forget the darkness, the wintry weather and all the other desultory aspects of the season. Tickets are $20.
