The Joy of Cheese and Gastronomie 491 Present Winter Wednesdays with Beer

There's no easier way to beat the winter blahs that with great cheese and great beer together. What's even better is to have them together with expert information on each. That's the game plan January 23rd at 7 p.m. at Gastronomie 491, when we present six superb cheeses from our collection and pair them with six extraordinary beers from the 12% portfolio. Martin Johnson of the Joy of Cheese, columnist at the Huffington Post, and most importantly, the Cheese Buyer for Gastronomie 491 will present and discuss the cheeses. Maggie Fuller, one of the foremost authorities on beer in America and half of the dynamic team at 12%, a company that sources small brewery beers from Belgium, Scandanavia, and North America, will present and discuss the beers. You'll forget the wintry winds, the short dark days, and the other depressing aspects of the season, at least for an hour or two. Tickets are $20.
