The Cascadia Tour - Seattle, WA
Writers on the Fly is going on the road, again! The 2017 Cascadia Tour is set to visit 5 cities in Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia from November 14-18, 2017. Each reading will feature 4-5 writers, and exhibit the work of some of fly fishing's best artists, curated by Copi Vojta of The Flyfish Journal. In addition, each reading will feature a non-profit organization working for change in the areas of youth and conservation, helping to raise awareness (and funding) for the work they do.
The midway point of the tour brings us back to where WOTF began: Emerald Water Anglers in West Seattle. Join us at the shop where we'll hear work from local writers Jon Tobey, Gregory Fitz, and Alex Collier, as well as from Amanda Monthei and Ann Bodle-Nash. Our featured non-profit for the Seattle event is YMCA's BOLD/GOLD Mountain School, an organization that provides opportunities for inner-city youth to experience the outdoors and learn wilderness skills. Enjoy libations from Georgetown Brewing Co., as always.
