The Cascadia Tour - Bend, OR
Writers on the Fly is going on the road, again! The 2017 Cascadia Tour is set to visit 5 cities in Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia from November 14-18, 2017. Each reading will feature 4-5 writers, and exhibit the work of some of fly fishing's best artists, curated by Copi Vojta of The Flyfish Journal. In addition, each reading will feature a non-profit organization working for change in the areas of youth and conservation, helping to raise awareness (and funding) for the work they do.
Join us for the kick off event in Bend, Oregon at Patagoina @ Bend. Featured writers include Steve Duda (editor of The Flyfish Journal), Chris Santella (author of The Tug is the Drug, editor of the 50 Places to Flyfish series), Gregory Fitz (writer and artist), and Alan Pilkington (author of Rivers of My Memory). In addition, you'll hear excerpts from Lee Spencer's new book, A Temporary Refuge, about Lee's time as a river keeper on a tributary of the North Umpqua. $10, 7 pm.
