Live Girls! Theater presents the first episode in its science fiction series following the adventures of a secret league of extraordinary people with access to a sphere of reality that grows with the power of human cognition. Caught out of time in the Noösphere, where reality is formed and destroyed through the power of Ideas, Ava Lovelace, Nicola Tesla, and Lord Byron discover that a dark force is dismantling human history. With the help of their ship, the Mary-Celeste, and a unique engine built by Charles Babbage, the league locates the source of the new disturbance in 1850s America. Once there, they must partner with the Pinkerton Detective Agency and Kate, the worlds first female detective, to save Abraham Lincoln and possibly the world.
Written by Darian Lindle and directed by Meghan Arnette, this show features a spectacular ensemble, including Sherif Amin, Caitlin Frances Branston, Daniel Christensen, Mark Fox, Alyssa Kay, Marena Kleinpeter, Imogen Love,Troy Lund, and Matthew Middleton. The production team creating the incredible world of the League includes Emily Leong, Jocelyne Fowler, Robin Macartney, Brian Stricklan, Michael Owcharuk, Stefanie Senior, Roberta Christensen, Omar Forrest, Lola Lindle, Deborah Carmichael, Alison Underdahl, and Leah Erickson Webster.
