Please join us for a conversation about the impact of early childhood trauma and how best to support a child's recovery, with practical interventions and concrete tools for healing.
Featuring Keynote Speaker: Dr. Chandra Ghosh Ippen Associate Director, Child Trauma Research Program University of California, San Francisco
We are thrilled to welcome to Seattle Chandra Ghosh Ippen, Ph.D., a leading expert in complex childhood trauma and its impact on very young children. Using metaphors, visual aids and rich case studies, Dr. Ghosh Ippen illustrates how everyone involved with the child - parents, caregivers, teachers, service providers, doctors, even police, legal advocates and others - must collaborate, using the best available science to support the recovery of the traumatized child. She provides practical interventions and concrete tools in trauma-informed care as pathways to healing and resilience.
