You come to Volti for adventure, to explore a daring kind of music that's like nothing you've ever heard before. This year we will explore some adventurous new vistas with some wonderful collaborators, including Left Coast Chamber Ensemble and ODC/Dance. Don't miss what might be our most exciting season yet!
Subscriptions include all three season concerts:
Death and a Knight: a double-bill of two new one-act operas produced by Left Coast Chamber Ensemble, with Volti providing the chorus, Saturday November 4 at 7:30 PM and Sunday November 5 at 2:00 PM, at Z Space in San Francisco;
Path of Miracles: in a collaboration with ODC/Dance and choreographer KT Nelson, Volti sings and moves along with these remarkable dancers in Joby Talbot's beautiful and spiritual evocation of the Camino Santiago pilgrimage. February 9 and 10 at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco;
And the final event of the season, a pure Volti vocal concert featuring new works by Danny Clay, Zibuokle Martinaityte and others, May 4 at Noe Valley Ministry in San Francisco and May 6 at BAMPFA Berkeley.
