Music for the Holly Days
One of the great holiday traditions at Gore Place, Music for the Holly Days offers Celtic and traditional folk music to make your holiday season even brighter! The seven member Moody Street String Band have been performing locally for more than 20 years. The concert offers a great mix of Irish jigs, Scottish reels, folk-songs and holiday favorites and you're invited to sing along! Seating is limited. All sales are final. Carriage House Concerts brings the finest performers of Classical and traditional music to the beautifully restored 1793 Carriage House at Gore Place. Described as a lovely little music box of a room, the Carriage Room offers intimacy (capacity 75) and wonderful acoustics (most performances dont require amplification). Onsite parking is free and the facility is fully accessible.
