After decades of song writing, Pat Manly has finally released her first CD: "backstory"... come help celebrate!

The music is wide ranging, from folk to jazz to country to pop, with one rock tune for good measure. And what a band! Come to hear how Rene Worst, Rueben Gurr, Michael Creber, Bill Coon, and Jennifer Scott interpret this music, with Buff Allen on drums, and perhaps some special guests.

The cover charge is to help pay for the band - if we sell out, we'll break even.

"backstory" was produced and arranged by Rene Worst and Rueben Gurr, recorded at Armoury Studios with additional recording by Bill Buckingham at The Palace Studios, mixed and mastered by Bill Buckingham. Studio musicians included Rene Worst (bass), Rueben Gurr (guitar), Michael Creber (keyboards), Bill Coon (guitar), Joel Fountain (drums), Tom Keenlyside (sax, flute), Jennifer Scott (background vocals), Julian Smedley (violin), Keith Bennett (harmonicas), and Bill Buckingham (synth). All songs written by Patricia Manly.

This event coincides with Pat's retirement and her move to Victoria - so this is a celebration of music and freedom.
