The Charles Brooks Collective is an experimental jazz-fusion group out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Known for their modern improvisatory techniques and their mind-blowing live performances, the guys are influenced by musical greats like Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, The Weather Report, Jimi Hendrix, and Pat Methany. The Collectives improv techniques combine with traditional jazz harmonies as melodies fuse with modern rhythmic application influenced by world music, thereby taking audiences on quite the experiential journey with their eclectic celebration of music.
