VJ TRIO w ARWEN DEWEY
VJ TRIO featuring Singer-Pianoman VICTOR JANUSZ, Sax Wunderkind MEDEARIS "MD" DIXSON, Drummer CONOR APPERSON --and featuring Chanteuse ARWEN DEWEY, present a year-end "Greatest Hits" Show --of sorts- featuring everything from "Trenet, Sinead, -and Songs We Made!"
The popular trio's repertoire is expansive: French-English Duets by Dewey & Janusz are, in fact, an integral part of VJ Band's upcoming (fourth) CD, like the Cole Porter Classic "Night & Day/Nuit'et Jour" the Janusz Original "LeBaiser (French Kiss)" and more contempo fare such as Sinead O"Connor's "Black Boys On Mopeds" --which the trio reworks toward a (sadly)revealing present-day version. Seating for the show: 6PM. Performance is 7--8:30 pm.
" Victor Janusz has made a name for himself as a modern cabaret-style singer and skilled pianist, with a broad repertoire and a flair for the dramatic and theatrical. As a songwriter, his style is varied and --like Elvis Costello-- he has a lyrical ear for story-telling" --Earshot Jazz Magazine (2016)
"Breezy, agreeable company...Janusz is a whiz on the keys!" --Misha Berson, Seattle Times (ACT Theatre Review 2014--"Hands Solo:Pianoman")
