Akashic Record is Bostons premier funk machine. The concept and sound is inspired by the Hammond organ driven grooves of the soul jazz and funk outfits of the 60s and 70s.
The current line-up of Brian Thomas on trombone, Jared Sims on baritone sax, Beau Sasser on organ, Steve Fell on guitar, and Peter MacLean on drums.
Tonight features two sets by the band - the first of Akashic originals followed by the band with special guest vocalist Monica Espinoza playing the music of the JB'!
