The ten-piece band Dark Side of the Hudson returns to the Nyack Center to perform Pink Floyd's 1977 release Animals and 1973 release Dark Side of the Moon, just as you remember them, with many of the iconic British band's original film projections. Music has accompanied movies since before sound was attached to film, but in the '60s and '70s bands like Pink Floyd and experimental filmmakers inverted the idea of the traditional movie score by adding movies to live music. Dark Side of the Hudson pays homage to the masters of psychedelic rock and unites the art of music with the art of motion picture in a live concert setting.

Dark Side of the Hudson sold out their previous two performances at the Nyack Center, and this one is sure to sell out fast. This incredible, not-to-be-missed performance, tears down The Wall between music and film!

Arrive by 6:30 for good seats.

The Dark Side of the Hudson concert is coming up this Saturday. The doors open at 6:30 and the program begins at 7:00. There may (or may not) be a few tickets for sale at the door starting at 6:45, so please arrive before then to get the best seats. Metered parking on the street and in the municipal parking lots nearby is FREE between 6:00 PM and 11 PM. This performance will end at 10:00, so unless you are going to a bar or restaurant, parking is free. If you do stay in Nyack after the show, dont forget to add time to the meter! The municipal parking lot downtown is only a couple blocks away. Give yourself time to park and get to the Nyack Center at South Broadway and Depew Avenue (enter on South Broadway). Advance sales online will end at noon on Saturday, so inform your friends to buy now to insure a seat.
