Calling all music fans, art fans and all friends of the Howland Center! This is the fall fundraiser for the Howland Cultural Center, so we're proudly pulling out all the stops to do a special event with a hot jazz trio from New York. We're honored to present Chris Crocco on guitar, Sean Conly on bass and Ian Froman on drums. As Chris puts it, "Exploring every aspect of truth in music and art, 'FLUID' performs with a ferocity and freedom...swing and organic color. Every show is energized with the colors of life." And speakings of colors, your eyes get to soak up works of original art being driven by the music and played through the talented hands of three fine artists who are bold enough and cool enough to do it while you wait and watch! And those are Basha Maryanski, Cynthia McCusker and Joe Pimental. Special thanks to our volunteer executive producer, Nelson Conde, for thinking this up and putting it together.

This fundraiser's name clues you in to why we're raising bucks. We need to upgrade our heating and cooling systems for the beloved but-not-easy-to-condition 1872 building that is the Howland Center. So, hot, cool -- you get it.
